And I think I have found the cause:
The https_proxy should be using the proxy server with http, not https.

In our case it burned a number of days of dev time, so this is

Selected 'install proprietary drivers and codecs' during installation.
Wifi worked on first boot.
Performed apt update && apt upgrade.
On second boot after updates, wifi will not connect. Tried three

I think so, but I don't think it's worth pushing out an update just for
that change. It's been broken since forever, so it's not like it's
fixing a regression or something; so I'd probably wait for something
else to attach it to.

I'm really not sure what changed to make 4K video so stuttery now in
totem. The CPU is fairly low and goes through the roof only if I
uninstall VAAPI. So VAAPI is working, and it works smoothly in mpv too.
Since I could last play 4K smoothly in totem there has been:
* A mesa update 17.2 -> 18.0
But after same more testing i fount that.
If at the start up the os i have plug in a jack headset and my usb mic , i will
have tha same problem but i can/t fix it like before, selecting the output
doesn't work it's selecting back the usb mic

I use a Philips BDM4037U 40'', 4k monitor.
Connecting it via DP to my Lenovo 910 4k gives me random blackouts.
It appears to me that this mostly happens after some time of work, also
more likely when the CPU has to handle more than average load, sooner in
30Hz than in 60Hz

- The same problem existed in 17.10 as well as in 18.04 beta, with x-org and
Wayland sessions.

I use a Philips BDM4037U 40'', 4k monitor.
Connecting it via DP to my Lenovo 910 4k does work (except for random display
blackouts).
But when connecting it via HDMI the display resolution is sometimes
correctly set (I cannot see a pattern when this works) but sometimes the
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Got this as well because I tried selecting a file for user theme that
was not .zip (was .tar.gz). Converted file to .zip and was able to
successfully install.

config master , but please uncomment this line:
Before=sysinit.target
It's very important to mount /tmp zramfs before sysinit.target, because
some script in sysinit creates /tmp/.X11-unix and other important
folders and if /tmp

release.

It worked (kinda) for me from a fresh set up, so if it might unblock you
