install it alongside Windows 10. The installer did not automatically
recognize that my PC has a Windows 10 so I used the 'choose other

the restarts are caused by certmonger requests.. I've added a (very
gross) 'sleep 80' to that stage which at least made it pass reliably on
my qemu host, but looks like that's not enough. I'll ask upstream why it
creates so many requests these days..

On my second machine, the UUID in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume did

In ubuntu 18.04 it doesn't ask for the pin when I'm logged in via ssh
without a DISPLAY= variable.
Tried adding "pinentry-program /usr/bin/pinentry-curses" to ~/.gnupg
/gpg-agent.conf but it didn't help.
I had to remove pinentry-gnome3 to get gpg working when logged in via
ssh.

With 18.04 the situation got worse. Apparently, the login screen tries
to run now on Wayland as well, so the opportunity to turn it off is
gone. Booting simply stops at the Ubuntu logo, with the first of these
five dots filled.
Booting in recovery mode, then choosing 'continue'(?) gives a black
