I found with some experimentation that btrfs_reserve_extent() fails due
to free space fragmentation. If you don't have a large enough contiguous
block on the filesystem you're trying to convert, that incurs the
problem. It's poor error messaging.

It's no problem at the moment. I face much worse problems wiith latest
versions of ubuntu...
e.g. PP1455 (look on internet) cannot detect internal Wifi.
PP1455 cannot use RFID sensor from Akam.nl
PP1455 has totally no Audio.
Many times there is a system errror... my business has to use 14.04,
With the latest version (4.3.11+dfsg-0ubuntu0.16.04.13) I still get
failures when I try to startup samba with an include that contains %U.
I think the difference is that I'm using samba as an AD DC. So the
service is started with systemctl (re)start samba-ad-dc instead of the
smbd and nmbd
is this problem solved for anyone , i am still facing it while i am
installing ubuntu 18.04

I'm investigating an issue we're seeing on a couple ARM servers, and it

the mpt3sas driver is being downloaded/loaded just before the
partitioner starts. Since the kernel is configured to scan for SCSI
devices asynchronously,

Occasionally, kscreenlocker_greet stops responding to any user input.
The mouse cursor changes to a text input cursor when hovering over the
password field (which you would expect for an X program), but typing,

Thanks for your answer. In the mean time I installed the LinuxMint 18.04
and the install program detected the condition
and gave me the the option to go back and install GRUB in bios mode.
