on my load average graphs), kworker has been burning a CPU core polling
for HDMI HDP events on one of my machines, this is obviously bad :)
I've attached a perf trace (running on 5.3.0-40-generic) and al
I believe lp:1863489 is a duplicate of this, but the symptom is powertop
showing that the i915 device is not dropping into RC6 or lower power
state. I was able to reproduce this on my laptop and after installing
the above 5.3 test kernel, powertop is now showing RC6 usage > 90% when

I've given this module a quick review - it looks ok for including in the
EFI image. I only have one small note on the while loop in
grub_smbios_match_structure, which I made because I thought it looked a
bit suspicious:

I'm a complete noob so sorry for no logs, but I have the exact same
configuration "I have a lenovo legion Y540 15IRH with nvidia 1660 ti"
(don't know how to check motherboard) and the exact same message. Tried
booting Kali Linux and Ubuntu. Worked for me the week previous, I think
but after I updat

I've found:
1. The initial CTRL-C works fine.
2. Subsequent attempts are OK if one presses CTRL-C twice on the source cell
which seems to function as a workaround.
