[Bug 1864116] Re: Package: pacemaker (debian: 2.0.3-3, ubuntu: 2.0.1-5ubuntu5) needs merge

2020-03-06 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker
This bug was fixed in the package pacemaker - 2.0.3-3ubuntu1

---
pacemaker (2.0.3-3ubuntu1) focal; urgency=medium

  * Merge with Debian unstable (LP: #1864116). Remaining changes:
- Skip autopkgtest for unprivileged containers: (LP: 1828228)
  - d/t/control: mark pacemaker test as skippable
  - d/t/pacemaker: skip if memlock can't be set to unlimited by root
- Make crmsh the default management tool for now (LP #1862947)
- Fix: Last attempt i386 binary packages removal was wrong (-Nlibkate)
- Ubuntu i386 binary compatibility only effort: (LP #1863437)
  - i386 binary package removal:
- pacemaker
- pacemaker-cli-utils
- pacemaker-remote
- pacemaker-resource-agents
  * Dropped (from Debian):
- debian/patches/pacemaker_is_partof_corosync.patch
  [fixed in corosync debian/2.4.2-3+deb9u1_bpo8+1]
- Omit pacemaker, pacemaker-cli-utils, pacemaker-remote binary
  packages on i386.
  [merged in debian/2.0.3-3]

pacemaker (2.0.3-3) unstable; urgency=medium

  * [543574f] Omit pacemaker{, -cli-utils, -remote} on Ubuntu/i386
(Closes: #948379)
  * [327889e] Reenable dwz, it already works with the magic sections from libqb

pacemaker (2.0.3-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * [2b80438] Special libqb symbols not present on Power architectures
  * [99905eb] New patch: Avoid clashes with glibc error codes on HPPA
  * [b3928b4] Add -dev package dependencies
  * [712627c] Suppress stderr output of autopkgtest instead of ignoring it
  * [8f47294] Generate an autopkgtest artifact
  * [1e66b70] Run Salsa CI reprotest with diffoscope
  * [4560320] Recognize the autopkgtest artifacts in Salsa CI

pacemaker (2.0.3-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * [20ccd21] Shorten and explain the autopkgtest wait
  * [d2eb58b] Ship /var/log/pacemaker, the new default directory of the detail
logs.
Without this directory the default configuration emits errors and the
detail log is not written. The old /var/log/pacemaker.log* detail log
files are not moved automatically on upgrade, but the /var/log/pacemaker
directory is removed when purging pacemaker-common.
  * [6d373b3] Drop a patch: libtransitioner does not use liblrmd since 092281b
  * [5b8f4bf] New upstream pre-release (2.0.2~rc1)
  * [ab9d200] Remove obsolete patch, refresh the rest

  * [edc559c] The doxygen target moved into the doc subdirectory (5c77ae3)
  * [d9c423f] libpengine and libtransitioner merged into libpacemaker
  * [d361d67] pacemaker-dev is our single umbrella dev package
  * [a407d6e] Some agents use top, so Depend on procps
  * [7cb9d3a] Ship the new HealthIOWait resource agent
  * [313cb68] Ship the new crm_rule utility
  * [72dc571] New upstream release (2.0.2)

[Bug 1865289] Re: ubuntu 19.10: libvirt hangs host shutdown

2020-03-06 Thread Christian Ehrhardt 
Thanks for the feedback Jürgen, setting it to invalid then since there
is nothing more to fix in the packages. Other Ubuntu users might hit the
same issue, so if you could add some info which FW you had to update to
get it fixed that might help them.

Tried with Firefox 73.0.1 - works, but connection is established using TLS1.2
protocol
when "SSLProtocol TLSv1.3 TLSv1.2 TLSv1.1" is specified, then TLS1.1 is used.

[Bug 1171844] Re: Ubiquity: Tajik Language Support

2020-03-06 Thread Steve Langasek
I don't see Tajik support in
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/focal/main/installer-
amd64/current/images/cdrom/debian-cd_info.tar.gz which is the source of
the translated menus presented from the isolinux bootloader. This would
need to be included there for sure in order to have localized menus in
the bootloader, but I also haven't tracked down yet where the list of
languages comes from since it doesn't appear to be in either the debian-
installer cd tarball, the debian-cd repository, or the syslinux source.

[Bug 1616196] Re: unable to stop avahi-daemon (dbus always restarts it)

2020-03-06 Thread David S
Wow, super annoying. I just wanted the "[UFW BLOCK]" multicast messages
to stop clogging up my logs when I'm connected to certain networks. I
don't really want it permanently disabled, nor do I really want to
change firewall rules, just to stop cluttering the log. Avahi just
doesn't make sense on every network and it would be great if there were
a way to stop it temporarily, without resorting to permanently disabling
it. This is still happening in latest 19.10, fyi.

[Bug 1691678] Re: Scrollbars escape the bottom and right side of the Terminal window by 1px

2020-03-06 Thread Egmont Koblinger
> but dropping the change creates a regression on the Ubuntu
session/theme

So the situation is: Unpatched gnome-terminal looks perfect on the
default GTK theme and on many others, except Ubuntu's.

Conclusion: Let's patch gnome-terminal! Wow.

I'm wondering: Has anyone considered fixing the Ubuntu theme(s) instead?

Oh, sure, in comment 16: "there's a workaround hacked into Yaru"

Why is that a workaround, and not a fix? Any why Yaru only and not
Ambiance or any other affected Ubuntu theme? Move forward please in this
direction, fix (or workaround, whatever) the affected themes so that
then you can drop the broken gnome-terminal patch.

Or, again: If you believe that your themes as well as your gnome-
terminal patch are correct, and other themes are buggy, please provide
evidence. If that's not the case, adding a workaround to (and thus
breaking) gnome-terminal instead of fixing the broken themes was clearly
the wrong thing to do, and should be properly fixed ASAP.

[Bug 1866088] Re: Problems with the Dock setting of "Show on" in the Appearance tab

2020-03-06 Thread Paul White
Further to my comment #4, in an Ubuntu session on Ubuntu 18.04 this
setting is on the "Dock" tab of Settings.

I see the same problem as I originally reported although unlike with
Ubuntu 20.04 I can change this setting as often as I like without having
to use Dconf to unset the dock being shown on both displays.

[Bug 1866222] Re: GNOME Shell crashed with signal 11

2020-03-06 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To
help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps:

1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run:
ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash
Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug.

2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where
ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine.
Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please
send the links to us.

3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921,
reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1.

Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are
unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security
risk for yourself.

not the issue.

[Bug 1866306] Re: Fix the name of the Occitan language

2020-03-06 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a
specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu
in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source
packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs
about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your
bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage.
You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1866306/+editstatus and add the
package name in the text box next to the word Package.

[This is an automated message. I apologize if it reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

[Bug 1844853] Re: IBus no longer works in Qt applications after upgrade

2020-03-06 Thread Iain Lane
I think everything other than eoan can be released: all the test
failures are unrelated.

For eoan, I'll check out what is happening with glib2.0's own
tests/i386. I thought the .4 version was going to fix that. :(

[Bug 1865471] Re: USB 3.1 Gen 1 not work after using suspend

2020-03-06 Thread MARTIN
apport information

** Description changed:

  Good morning.

There many months than I use "suspend" (settings -> energy -> When the
shutdown button...) on Ubuntu 18.04 or 19.10.

But at each wake up from my computer, the USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (only
motherboard back panel) no work after (loose use of webcam,
  keyboard...).

No problems with USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 2.0/1.1 front panel (from internal USB
header).
No problems with USB 2.0/1.1 ports (motherboard back panel).

I think my motherboard is not at fault because I did not reproduce this bug
on Windows 10.

[Bug 1866207] Re: [Ubuntu 20.04] vhost_set_features not supported in qemu-system-s390x

2020-03-06 Thread Christian Ehrhardt 
Thanks, the change LGTM.

Waiting for the upstream discussion to settle on v3 or v3+n and then I'll add
it to Focal.
You can help by pinging us once this got accepted.

If we this takes rather long and we get close to the last date to do the
last pre 20.04-release upload and at the time the patch isn't accepted
upstream we can re-sync how to proceed.

Hah no problem. Well thanks for getting back to me anyway, I don't have the
issue anymore as I don't have that build of Ubuntu installed anymore.

Good luck answering the rest of your bug tickets!
