The errors mentioned in bug description are from MetadataAgentProxy
process but the one mentioned in comment#4 is from parent MetadataAgent
process itself.
ovsdb.MetadataAgentOvnSbIdl().start() seems never returned and so sb_idl is not
initialised [1].

when my lubuntu focal box gets heavy into thrashing, snapd sits there
and hangs on to 20mb of resident memory. why so heavy? reminds me of

I encountered the similar issue since 1.9.1-1ubuntu0.4 update. On the
previous version 1.9.1-1build1, if I run a CPU stress test, the fan will
keep going up until full speed (~6000rpm) as the temp rises. On
1.9.1-1ubuntu0.4, the fan sometimes is kept at 3600rpm or remains at
