Actually, it doesn't seem the problem that it's outdated, it's rather
the problem described in Bug#60570. However, the result is the same:
Very visible parts of the main menus looks untranslated.

This has been done for i386, amd64, and sparc. I'd love it if someone
could poke into why powerpc explodes (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=362410) and then tap me on the shoulder to do PPC
as well, when they're sure it'll actually work.
Sorry for the delay, guys. :/
**
funny thing is, when i deleted ~/.evolution folder, evolution on both
computers worked again.
but then again, deleting a .*** folder is not an obvious solution for
most of the users.

** Description changed:
- Hi, this time I have checked everything. There IS a bug.
+ Some very visible Kurdish translations done in Rosetta do not appear in
+ OpenOffice in Ubuntu (Dapper, Edgy). An example can be seen here, look
+ at the File menu and the Main menu bar:
Look at the image
Latest patch by Stephen Hemminger on bugs.kernel.com solved the problem
for me, I'm using a custom 2.6.18.1 kernel on dapper.
See also here http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6839
** Attachment added: Yukon FE ram buffer initialization

Public bug reported:
Tried to install package on Edgy (i386) system and got the following
error:
dpkg: parse error, in file `/var/lib/dpkg/available' near line 4124 package
`liblocale-gettext-perl':
field name `' must be followed by colon
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
I can confirm this too. Current edgy/ppc.
