[Bug 111606] Re: Totem does (mostly) not display video output on external monitor

Good Morning Xan, first of all, I think you are using the packages from winehq, just because feisty has only 0.9.33 in its repository. Secondly, your problem is more likly to be solved upstream Please go to http://www.winehq.org/ and file your bugreport in their bugzilla. [Bug 115385] easier drag-and-drop
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: youtranslate Youtranslate is a great translating program, but there's a way that it could become much faster to use -which I understand is the whole point of the program-. When you select text from any source -web browser, text processor... whatever- to the youtranslate text field, currently it gets added to what you had previously written. Instead, it should REPLACE the existing text and translate the new text automatically. I'll give you an example: let's suppose I'm translating a Spanish piece of text from a webpage. I have just translated casa and I want to translate coche. -I have to select the text, right-click it and copy it. then I have to go to youtranslate, select the whole previous entry, right-click it and paste, then press the translate button. -With the proposed method, I'd just have to select the text and drag it to the text field. [Bug 87462] Re: MASTER [apport] amarokcollectionscanner crashed with SIGSEGV in QPixmap::convertFromImage()
Happened to me on a NFS-Share. NFS seems somewhat buggy since the Upgrade from 6.10 to 7.04; it won't always mount it's shares during startup (i.e. it seems that e.g. when Filesystems require a fsck (the one being required after n mounts) then NFS-Shares won't be mounted. Have no idea how these actions are related, though). -- MASTER [apport] amarokcollectionscanner crashed with SIGSEGV in QPixmap::convertFromImage() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 115388] Ubuntu 'do_release_upgrade doesn't work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager-core I am trying to upgrade Ubuntu pn a firewalled server running Ubuntu Edgy Server to Feisty with the do_release_upgrade command, but it reports that no new version was found.. My guess is that it can have something to do with the firewall which the server has to get through. To get apt-get working I'm need to use a http proxy server, maybe do_release_upgrade need that to? I have not found any way of specifying proxy settings for do_release_upgrade (e.g no command line switch), shouldn't there be? ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Ubuntu 'do_release_upgrade doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115388 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 99858] Re: [nvidia-glx-new] Terminal will not successfully launch when SVideo is connected to TV
The more I think about it the more unsure I am of where to move this bug to. I'm going to try gnome-terminal to see what they make of it (perhaps its gnome-session related?) but I have speculatively changed the title in case it needs to be marked against the binary drivers. Setting back to unconfirmed. hardyn: Assuming your virtual terminals still work the following could be useful. 1. Switch to a virtual terminal by pressing ctrl-alt-f2. Log in to the terminal. 2. Type ps auxw | grep '[X]11R6' . This will show you which X servers your machine is running, Take note of the first number after /usr/X11R6/bin/X (e.g. :0 ) 3. Run the following: DISPLAY=:0 strace -o ~/gnome-terminal-strace.txt gnome-terminal Where :0 is the X display you wanted gnome-terminal to appear on. After ten seconds press ctrl-c . The above should make a file called gnome-terminal-strace.txt in your home directory and might be useful for tracking down the problem. ** Changed in: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: terminal = gnome-terminal Status: Needs Info = Unconfirmed -- [nvidia-glx-new] Terminal will not successfully launch when SVideo is connected to TV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99858 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
