[Bug 159920] Re: Microsoft Laser Desktop 5000 USB keyboard not usable during grub boot selection
ok, I tried another USB port, its the same thing. What kind of problem with the BIOS? If you give me an idea about what to look for in the bios setup, i can check it. I confirm this bug on HP nc8430 with upgraded drive. Summary: I just upgraded existing drive (Fujitsu MHV2100BH) to Seagate 7200.2 (ST9200420ASG). [Bug 165124] Network Manager does not allow a wireless network to change kind of encryption
Public bug reported: If a wireless network used to use a certain encryption protocol (e.g. WPA2) and then change its encryption protocol (e.g. to WEP), then NetworkManager will not allow the user to connect to the network. It will insist on connecting using the old encryption algorithm and, obviously, it will always fail. To reproduce: 1) Connect to a network (essid FooBar) with WPA encryption 2) Use the network 3) Change the FooBar network to use the WEP encryption 4) Select the FooBar network using NetworkManager 5) The passoword dialog is shown 5.1) NetworkManager should ask for the WEP password 5.2) BUT it insist on asking for the WPA password ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Network Manager does not allow a wireless network to change kind of encryption https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/165124 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 160636] Re: xubuntu Gutsy: Screensaver shows user's screen at password prompt
I was refering to the last tab, the one with the compositing manager options, so that Previous Tab meant The tab described in the point above. Actually, Display full screen blablabla was the option I wanted to name, but I just didn't remember. Please keep in mind I've only seen that option twice... and in spanish. [Bug 165134] tmispell-voikko depends on ispell but no dependency is set
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tmispell-voikko Invoking ispell without any parameters does nothing (no error messages, nothing) if you have only tmispell-voikko installed (and no ispell). Invoking tmispell works as expected. /usr/bin/ispell exists and is a symlink to tmispell, just as I assume it should be. If I install ispell /usr/bin/ispell is still a symlink to tmispell and ispell now works correctly. Re: [Bug 165136] Re: svn+ssh:// push: IntegrityError: columns max_revnum, min_revnum, path, scheme are not unique
affects /products/bzr-svn status triaged importance low tags +upgrade This is an upgrade issue - older versions create a unique version of the following index: create index if not exists lookup_branch_revnum on revmap (max_revnum, min_revnum, path, scheme); bzr-svn should fix this or simply remove the old cache file when it finds a unique lookup_branch_revnum index. [Bug 130813] Re: Hash Sum mismatch
I get this problem but not when I do `apt-get update` but trying to install specific packages, (eg. dialog package, result below). First I was using my local (Polish) ubuntu mirrors and all the packages had corrupted hashes. When I switched to main repository, only some of the packages get this error. $ sudo apt-get install dialog Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following NEW packages will be installed: dialog 0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 242kB of archives. After unpacking 1303kB of additional disk space will be used. [Bug 165145] No hardware compatibility list included in manual. (Gutsy)
Public bug reported: It would be useful if you could just look into Ubuntu's built-in manual before you buy new hardware. Unfortunately you cannot find any information on that question in the manual. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- No hardware compatibility list included in manual.
