I got the same problem, when burning a DVD+RW that have files on it.
Nautilus-CD-burner ask to erase the disk and i click ok. The time

1. Add the System Monitor applet to your panel and configure it to
display disk usage in a graph.
2. Reboot (to clear out disk cache)

Same problem on an HP 8710w system. Trying to connet to a corporate
WPA2/EAP TLS network using certficates used to work on gutsy.. Now, it
is very difficult to make it work. The driver is very flaky. I connect

FWIW - I have the same problem with Hardy, and had it in previous
versions of Ubuntu as well. I am running Gnome, and don't have Xfce
installed. I also do not have Gnome set to save my sessions upon
logout.
If something else is running Tomboy besides the 'startup programs'
section of the Session

'sudo usplash -c -v -x 1024 -y 768' works fine if I first load the sisfb
driver (modprobe sisfb). The usplash screen also appears on shutdown
after loading the sisfb driver, though the image is distorted unless I
first change the vt to the right resolution (e.g. via usplash -c -x 10
