Only fixing Foomatic does not help here the pxlmono/pxlcolor driver
has also a bug. I have fixed it upstream in Ghostscript and a fixed
package for Ubuntu is on its way.
** Also affects: ghostscript (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New

This bug was fixed in the package ghostscript - 8.63.dfsg.1-0ubuntu5

ghostscript (8.63.dfsg.1-0ubuntu5) intrepid; urgency=low
* debian/patches/38_pxl-duplex.dpatch: The Duplex option of the pxlmono
and pxlcolor drivers did not work (part 1 of the fix for LP: #282738).

Using Intel driver I found that if xorg.conf has the following lines:
Section Device
Option XaaNoPixmapCache
EndSection
...
Section Module
Loadv4l
EndSection

GDM won't load, commenting both of them makes GDM happy.
If I kill GDM X, and
I still can not hibernate or suspend from ubuntu intrepid.
But i can suspend when I m using my laptop hotkey fn + f3 in gdm but thisis
not working in xserver my dmesg.txt after a successfull suspend i think this
is related to the bios or acpi.

I can confirm that this happens on my system as well, I have to kill
Klipper on both sides (I'm not sure if it matters, but I have it sync
the X selection and the clipboard).

This isn't just restricted to plural words ... there just appear to be
tons of missing words in the default [for me] language of English,
which appear to work correctly when manually setting the document
language to English (United States) as described above.
