Looks like version 2.13~ppa1 works correctly when fsck actually checks
disks, but crashes when checks are skipped (i.e. when filesystems are
clean).
If filesystems are clean, splash screen animation loops endlessly and
nothing happens. But it is possible to press key 'C' and get to recover
The issue never surfaced in Karmic, so probably was fixed in newer
versions of the kernel. In any case I haven't encountered this issue in

Each time I try to select a word in a text box (Ctrl-ArrowKey) Evince

Ctrl-Left & Ctrl-Right are commons keys to select words, I don't know if
evice is trying to rotate the document and fail because is editing a

I got what appeared to be a successful install on a Gateway mx6028 with
