Well, yeah when you switch between different window managers, the new
window manager has to recreate all the window decorations. That's why
the borders and buttons disappear. The panel is part of the window
manager too, so when switching WM's that'll disappear too. So, so far
it isn't sounding

I think a patch that uses libudf would be better, since libudf is
already in main and libdvdread is not - you wouldn't need to go through

i just got finish haveing it happen again and i was able to run compiz
--replace and it fixed things the output is

I've just realised that it's necessary to prefix sh to the command
line to ensure that the synchronisation script is called.
There's still one problem in this part of the setup - gtkpod forgets

Ubuntu reports the VirtualBox drivers as enabled on my Natty
Virtualbox machine. With the old compiz in Maverick this was enough to

I have the same problem on a Dell Precision M4500. It seems to be caused by the
fact that no udev events are triggered if the DVD is ejected with the button
when the drive is mounted. Unmounting the DVD after it has been ejected
triggers the event. In the same way, just unmonting without

while compiz was running in the terminal i changes a appearance item and

For your convenience I ran.
LANG=C SHOTWELL_LOG=1 shotwell
The log is from my current .shotwell folder. I did also try to remove
.shotwell and run again, in both cases I got the same outcome:
Previously imported images with missing thumbnails are still missing.
When Importing new images the
