used Software Center to install Boinc.
Got version 6.10.58 which does not find my HD4850. (No usable GPUs..)

I got it working by running compiz with --loose-binding. Unfortunately I didn't

In fact Nautilus_2.32.2.1-0ubuntu4 does not crash when I move mouse cursor on
it.
It crashes when I move my mouse cursor on my side panel (which set to autohide)

After repeated S4 cycles, a memcpy() Oops occurs in suspend_nvs_save.
This error occurs because the ioremap of the NVS region fails, returning
NULL and the subsequent memcpy() tries to copy to a NULL pointer, hence
the oops.

Note: Without this patch, one particular laptop is failing after 12 S4
iterations. With the patch we don't get the memcpy() oops anymore.
I've also soak tested this patch on another machine with 250 S4 cycles.
I also threw in 250 S3 cycles to make sure we don't get any regressions.

The problem isn't that I fear people won't do the work, as I know
packaging will happen anyway. It's just that the way Ubuntu devs
consider patching is plain wrong: there's generally no hurry pushing a
fix to the development release, so downstream patching only generates
useless work. I wish
I confirm, the bug still exists in Empathy-2.32.0-0ubuntu2.
As a workaround, you can create a script which sleeps for 10s then launches
empathy -h like this:
sh -c sleep 10 (empathy -h )

@Milos (#69): Try updating your BIOS to the latest version available
from ASUS. IIRC, on this netbook, WiFi toggling via Fn+F2 is now handled
in the BIOS, that's why recent kernels ignore it. This might not be
relevant to the audio jack/internal mic issue, but I'm reporting here my
BIOS version as

On further testing, intel_idle seems to break my resume function. When I
disabled it, suspend works fine.
Attached is output of /var/log/kern.log | grep PM. First with intel_idle, then
without.
