Both OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice keep compatibility with this result. [Bug 742544] Re: Launcher is shown on the wrong screen in some multi-monitor setups
I would like to add that I have found Unity unusable in my current setup because of this issue. The launcher is currently showing on my primary monitor, but my primary monitor is on the right of my multi-monitor setup. This makes bringing the launcher up almost impossible by using the mouse position. It also makes the launcher position VERY inconvenient, breaking the workspace up the middle. [Bug 768756] Re: change of setting in compizconfig makes menu bar disappear
I got it in the 32-bit version also. Interestingly enough, prior to updating the system (fresh install) performing the actions above caused Compiz to crash. After the update, the title bar wen solid black (no notifiers or anything), whereas it became invisible (or disappeared) on my other system. Problem machine: chrome://global/locale/intl.properties Reinstalled (not problem) machine: ja, en, en-US It seems that first three letters of "chrome" was used as as language code. Because problem machine use "Firefox Sync" with various machines (included Firefox Mobile beta) and services.sync.prefs.sync.intl.accept_languages is "true", unexpected settings might have mingled with sync data. I re-installed 2011/04/23 daily-live, and set up Firefox Sync with new account.
