[Bug 1006860] Re: gdb crashes when loading core files (in is_ctor_or_dtor)
It turns out that gdb crashes as it tries to determine whether a field of a lambda is a or ctor/dtor, given the fields name. Apparently, the field's name is NULL and I added a check for that, bailing out and returning 0 ("no, this is neither a dtor nor a ctor"). GDB behaves normally when being run on the test program mentioned before. Patch is attached, generated with quilt. ** Patch added: "gdb-fix-crash-when-checking-for-ctor-of-lambda.diff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdb/+bug/1006860/+attachment/3218151/+files/gdb-fix-crash-when-checking-for-ctor-of-lambda.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1006860 Title: gdb crashes when loading core files (in is_ctor_or_dtor) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdb/+bug/1006860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

this problem exists on Linux Mint 12 and 13, but for some reason is not affecting me on Ubuntu 12.04... unchecking "disable touchpad while typing" fixes the issue. in order to avoid accidental clicks, you must also unceck "enable mouse clicks with touchpad" and use the purpose-built buttons only :) (are they really that inconvenient?) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549727 Title: Touchpad stops working after login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/549727/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1022374] Re: btrfs file system crashes with kernel BUG at /build/buildd/linux-3.5.0/fs/btrfs/inode.c:3758!
This bug takes out your system start-up. Recovery did not help, nor did using previous kernel builds. Not a good thing for a newly announced file-system. Please let me know how to proceed. What are my options, is it fix-able, or does it require a re-install. I was getting a sparse file error before this latest bug, and tried a few fixes, which gave me record fail errors. this bug appeared after leaving my system unattended, and was on the screen when I returned. It is now the only thing that appears on the screen after reboot. Today even less appears. [Bug 1018699] Re: In formulas, matrices cannot include colors
(Sorry for the delay in replying) I think you misread my bug report. Perhaps I should have rephrased the title as "In formulas, matrices cannot include the names of colors" I was not trying to make colored text. I was trying *not* to make colored text. Please follow my reproduction steps exactly, so that you can see . In addition, please try entering: [ matrix{ a # b ## c # color black red } ] What I want is for the word "red" to appear in the matrix (in black- colored text). [Bug 1020436] Re: Cannot read superblock after FC multipath failover
Hi Peter, Thanks for picking this up. Note: I ran an 'update-initramfs -u -k all' and rebooted just for good measure before proceeding. [Bug 882274] Re: Community engagement is broken
@mr.goose We do not measure community engagement based on Distrowatch rankings and its trivial as to whether Distrowatch rankings are good for measurement of anything and further we do not use sensationalized tech articles to guage whether we are heading in the right direction especially since those same writers flip flop on how good or bad Ubuntu is every other article.
