1. Load the grid and expo plugins.
2. Test that dragging windows to the top-left corner triggers grid.
3. Enter expo mode (top-left corner or Super+E)
4. Try to drag one of the windows to the top left corner of the screen. It

problem. None of the current work arounds of setting boot params or
changing xorg.conf have fixed the issue for me.

I found a way to work around the issue:
$ xrandr --addmode VGA1 1280x1024
$ xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1280x1024
but I have to do this after every reboot which is not a good solution. I also
found out that EDID information is not detected correctly by the i915 drm
modul, as
/sys/module/drm/dri
I have now updated the kernel.
The system seems stable. However as the crash was roughly once per day
I will run for four or five days with the new kernel.
If I have have no problems I will denote as fixed with upstream kernel.

corrected because the version grib in Ubuntu Quantal is 3.9.2. But since two or
