Messages about ACPI are still there. Now I have 3.5.0-21 which is an
Official supported kernel for 12.04 as for 12.10 as well.
As I said above I didn't understand in which way the messages for ACPI-
warnings affects me .. because the boot progress is OK and things I
used to do working flawless.
boinc - 7.1.0~nightly1~~git20130101+r12090-0~r36 is available for
testing, please note this is a really development release, so use it

I see the same issue with vanilla sources 3.7.1 in gentoo. (and hardened
sources), seems like an upstream kernel issue maybe?
I reproduced via the following method.
1. boot
2. play sound (to verify working)
3. suspend / unsuspend
4. play sound (this fails)
5. dmesg :D

There have been moves to deprecate gksudo anyway, and use a policykit
alternative, thats the best long term solution.
What were you trying to access when gksudo popped up?

None of these bugs seem to be about the same symptoms that I'm seeing.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=742776 is about corruption
in all gtk+ apps. I only see corruption in gnome-shell widgets.
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=689254 is about "cosmetic"
issues with hinting.
Still experiencing issue..

Public bug reported:
I tried once and the installer froze. Then the installer would not
start, so I rebooted. After rebooting, the installer keeps crashing
after I set the partitions. I do not format them, especially the btrfs
one because it already has data on it.
