I've also tried it with a C++ app very similar to yours and was unable
to repro. There is something about having node.js as the init process
running a process.exit(0); js. The init process (node v0.11.0) does
exit as ps faux shows it as a zombie and a child of lxc-start.
I went back to kernel
nscd and SSSD are not installed / configured.
From my understanding winbind should handle the NSS caching.
/etc/nsswitch.conf:
passwd: compat winbind
On other Linux distribution it works, so in my eyes something seems to
be wrong with Ubuntu and winbind.

Seems like the other issue is that the default .profile sources .bashrc
if $BASH_VERSION is set. But $BASH_VERSION is set even if bash is
invoked as /bin/sh. .bashrc is designed only for sourcing by bash, not
bash in posix mode, or any other shell, given that bash itself does not
source .bashrc

Joseph, I'll check that... The bug unfortunately does not happen always,
it seems to be more present when enabling the Fast boot in bios
options. In that case, somtimes, some devices are not initialized before

After some investigations I found a relatively easy way to get arround this.
The culprit beeing cups-filters. After downgrading it, evrything seemed OK.
apt-cache policy cups-filters

chose the right framebuffer mode. Try this
