[Bug 1307473] Re: guest hang due to missing clock interrupt

[Bug 1307473] Re: guest hang due to missing clock interrupt
I can confirm that it's more kernel issue than qemu. I run kernel 3.11.0-24-generic which is left after upgrade from Saucy and have no issues for at least two days. [Bug 1337437] Re: maas needs utopic support

[Bug 1337437] Re: maas needs utopic support
That diff is bogus, it won't apply to trunk as the enum was moved. Also, we should *not* be using python-distro-info please; the list of OSes and releases is driven by images imported on the clusters and thus ultimately the simplestreams data for available images. There's another bug somewhere (my search-fu is failing me right now) about removing that enum entirely and replacing it with information that comes from the cluster controllers, as they are the ultimate arbiter of what can be installed. A lot of work was done towards this goal at the coding sprint in March, but there was no time to finish it. But basically there is code elsewhere that polls all the clusters and gets their supported OS releases and combines to a single list. This just needs hooking up in that drop-down. Then, the enum-based code in provisioningserver/drivers/osystem/ubuntu.py can be removed entirely. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to maas in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1337437 Title: maas needs utopic support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/maas/+bug/1337437/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs

[Bug 1333363] Re: VMWI are not being reported on Orange network
As Tiago says, the test-message-waiting script might give some insight. I tested a certain type of voice mail waiting indicator messages (with an Anritsu MD8470A network simulator, hard-coding the messages' data coding schemes), and get output like this: root@ubuntu-phablet:~# /usr/share/ofono/scripts/test-message-waiting Voicemail waiting: 0 Voicemail message count: 0 Voicemail mailbox number: MessageWaiting property: 'VoicemailWaiting' changed to '1' MessageWaiting property: 'VoicemailWaiting' changed to '0' I don't think the 'CPHS' part is a problem, AFAIK some parts of the (ancient) CPHS spec are incorporated into 3GPP anyway, and some bits are explicitly implemented in oFono. But there might be a problem if the message is not even received by oFono but stays in the modem and the SIM card. I just reported bug 1337114 with some more detail. This scenario could be confirmed by getting detailed oFono logs: * replace file /etc/init/ofono.override with the attached one * reboot * re-test receiving voicemail indications * attach /var/log/syslog to the bug report (you should find 'UNSOL_RESPONSE_NEW_SMS_ON_SIM' or 'RIL_UNSOL_RESPONSE_NEW_SMS' in the log file) Pat, do you think we can find someone in the UK with Orange subscription that could test this? ** Attachment added: ofono init file that enables detailed rilmodem logging https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/163/+attachment/4144367/+files/ofono.override ** Changed in: ofono (Ubuntu) Assignee: Martti Piirainen (piiramar) = (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/163 Title: VMWI are not being reported on Orange network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/163/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1069964] Re: Unable to mount Blank CD-R disc. Location is already mounted.
Unity and flashback use unity-fallback-mount-helper which is part of unity-settings-daemon. gnome-shell (and classic) uses built in code that is part of the shell. That is separate code, however was probably based on the same code as the above helper when originally ported to JS. The closest common demoninator would be the GIO Volume monitor ** Package changed: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) = unity-settings- daemon (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069964 Title: Unable to mount Blank CD-R disc. [Bug 1335165] Re: vodafone uk does not connect to data network
No idea yet why this stopped working. Victor, here's a few things you could do to give more input: * Some details on the SW/HW used. Did you upgrade and it stopped working at that point? * Try the same SIM card in a reference phone (to rule out a problem with your subscription). * If the SIM is OK, run /usr/share/ofono/scripts/list-contexts . You should see a /ril_0/context1 section with an AccessPointName suitable for your operator. * If the APN is empty or wrong, this sounds like an APN provisioning problem. * Try setting the APN manually: /usr/share/ofono/scripts/remove-contexts ; /usr/share/ofono/scripts/create-internet-context my.operators.apn.name (then reboot and try again) * Try re-provisioning: /usr/share/ofono/scripts/remove-contexts (then reboot and try again) * Note: A change in APN provisioning is upcoming soon (remove MBPI and use only Android provisioning, see bug 1324157). * If the APN settings are correct, but the data connection does not work, we'd need detailed oFono logs. * replace file /etc/init/ofono.override with the attached one * reboot * re-test enabling/disabling data connection * attach /var/log/syslog to the bug report (you should find 'RIL_REQUEST_SETUP_DATA_CALL' or 'RIL_REQUEST_DEACTIVATE_DATA_CALL' in the log file) Victor, can you work through this? ** Attachment added: ofono init file that enables detailed rilmodem logging https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/1335165/+attachment/4144428/+files/ofono.override -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1335165 Title: vodafone uk does not connect to data network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ofono/+bug/1335165/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1334188] Re: [Dell OptiPlex 3011] HIGH failures found in suspend log
PCI: :03:00.0, VID: ec:68, Class: 02:00 (Ethernet controller) has two differences 1. SERR# Enable is set fro 0 to 1 2. CacheLine Size is reduced from 0x10 to 0x08 The same applies to PCI: :04:00.0, VID: e4:59, Class: 02:80 (Network controller). I suspect BIOS did not restore them values correctly after resume, but they shouldn't haven't any function failures. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1334188 Title: [Dell OptiPlex 3011] HIGH failures found in suspend log To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1334188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
