even though the line numbers are wrong, they would change if I edited

I've been getting about daily kernel panics (three times so far).
Screenshot attached. Another user also commented in bug
ubuntu 14.10 docs the expert said he was going to analyze my system and

The users complained that the issue re-occurred today. I remotely
upgraded the system yesterday (apt-get dist-upgrade), so its very likely
something in the upgrade process broke the system again. They will
transport me the machine today, so I will have physical access. If we
don't manage to fix it
I will confirm this from the logs when I get access to the machine, but
if I remember correctly, at least one of the updates was to libc, just
as the previous time this happened.

Num lock toggling causing

Different files in file manager are crashing file manager when I go to
open them. I then get the report that Unbuntu 14.04 is experiencing and
internal problem and maybe try to restart. Problem still present after
mutiple restarts. Started after upadte this morninng this date
you need to choose an active version: 12.10 have reached End Of Life a
while back

With linux 3.13.0-44 and iwlwifi-7260-7.ucode I had no problems. Few
days ago I installed linux 3.16.0-31 (it's used iwlwifi-7260-9.ucode)
and got a bunch of disconnects

Nope. In the comment above I did fix it so that the installation disk
integrity check now passes fully (as all files are found as expected)
but the original installation fail remains.
It is still impossible to install Ubuntu server 14.04 using a USB stick
and showing the same screens as in the
