I tested lua-json 1.3-1ubuntu0.1 on Trusty with the small test script
above (and our application to be sure).
With lua5.1, both worked correctly.
With lua5.2, the small test script failed with the error:

Hello John, or anyone else affected,
Accepted banshee into vivid-proposed. The package will build now and be
available at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/2.9.0+really2.6.2-2ubuntu5
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See
@Adam,
I mean Linux kernel 3.13 doesn't support the touchpad of Dell XPS 13 (2015) in
I2C mode originally.
It may need more patches to make the touchpad in I2C mode work.

Dear Maintainers,
I was taking a look to the debian package and it uses update-
alternatives to handle skip-tracker and subunit-trace[0], should I
pursue a patch to follow that same behavior? or do you pretend to re-
sync the package with Debian during this cycle (wily)?
Best,

This failed, the patch did not change kdesnake.desktop and kdesnake bash
script ran itself recursively. I've uploaded 14.12.0-0ubuntu4 to
~ubuntu-sru with a fix, awaiting approval by ubuntu-sru

Not sure what project this bug is for but it's not Mir. Mir is not used
on the Wily desktop right now.
P.S. This sounds like a general Ubuntu desktop bug I've experienced
myself for at least a year now on various releases.
