[Bug 1547043] Re: 4k Support not working
Hi Christopher, I have checked this. But by now only with the 27" Dell. (The resolutions are anyway the same.) Ubuntu offers resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 px. The largest working resolution is 1920 x 1200 px. Both higher resolutions (3840 x 2160 px and 2560 x 1440 px) result in a black external display. As I am using a freshly installed live stick with Ubuntu 15.10 i don’t expect any *.old log files to appear. I have only attached the Xorg.0.log file after testing your scenario. ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1547043/+attachment/4577053/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1547043 Title: 4k Support not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1547043/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1548020] [NEW] Download handling with OneTimeTokens
Public bug reported: I'm hosting a webserver with seafile. When I click on the Download link direktly, then choosing the app for opening, the Download aborts because of Http400 Error. This could be because the Download token from the server are working just for one time. Nevertheless, if do rightclick on the download link and select "save as", the download works pretty fine. I think, when clicking on such a link, a request to the server is issued, which invalidates the link for subsequent requests. The headers from the response to that request are then passed to the download manager which will initiate the download by issuing the request again, and the first request initiated by the browser is cancelled. That’s indeed a bug in how downloads are handled in the browser. If nessesary I can provide a temporary download link for testing the issues. This happend on my Nexus 4 with OTA9. ** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1548020 Title: Download handling with OneTimeTokens To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1548020/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1544279] Re: symfony: update and bootstrap for PHP7.0 support
I am uncomfortable with the patch added here which disables failing tests. Launchpad doesn't show any failures in these tests, and you haven't given a rationale why it's correct to disable those tests. Also, keeping those tests enabled doesn't result in any build failure here. So I will upload with the other two patches applied, and omit this one. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1544279 Title: symfony: update and bootstrap for PHP7.0 support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/symfony/+bug/1544279/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1548019] [NEW] Bypassing certificate checks
Public bug reported: I'm hosting a webserver. Right now I have not registred my SSL-Certificate, so I have to confirm with "proceed anyway"; Then I can access the homepage without problems. But if I try do download something from this homepage, the download shows in download manager, but it does not start. Copying the downloadlink via rightClick and selecting copy Link, then opening the Terminal and typing "wget www.link.de/file --no-check-certificate" works pretty fine. I think, the browser delegates downloads to UDM, the Ubuntu Download Manager. I guess UDM doesn’t allow bypassing certificate checks. If nessesary I can provide a temporary download link for testing the issues. [Bug 1548016] [NEW] pcmanfm right click empty space shows broken inversert selection in context menu

[Bug 1548009] [NEW] ZFS pools should be automatically scrubbed
Public bug reported: mdadm automatically checks MD arrays. ZFS should automatically scrub pools. I've attached a debdiff which accomplishes this. The meat of it is the scrub script I've been using (and recommending in my HOWTO) for years, which scrubs all *healthy* pools. If a pool is not healthy, scrubbing it is bad for two reasons: 1) It adds a lot of disk load which could lead to another failure. We should save that disk load for resilvering. 2) Performance is already less on a degraded pool and scrubbing will make that worse. The cron.d in this patch scrubs on the second Sunday of the month. mdadm scrubs on the first Sunday of the month. This way, if a system has both MD and ZFS pools, the load doesn't all happen at the same time. If the system doesn't have both types, it shouldn't really matter which week. ** Affects: zfs-linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "zfs-linux.scrub.debdiff.2" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1548009/+attachment/4577024/+files/zfs-linux.scrub.debdiff.2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1548009 Title: ZFS pools should be automatically scrubbed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zfs-linux/+bug/1548009/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1547640] Re: proxy tries ipv6 and gets 503 when no ipv6 routes
There is a work around for this issue currently in place. The change was to remove one of the 10 ipv6 addresses that were returned in a query for security.ubuntu.com or archive.ubuntu.com. Now there are only 9 ipv6 addresses in place. This works around the issue and users should not see this error when using squid as a apt mirror. [Bug 1524196] Re: Error on fetching several lists
At the debian bugtracker is also a bugreport about this: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=807948 It turned out that the user had manually set up /tmp which caused it to have the wrong permissions. I have not manually set up /tmp but on looking at it it has the permissions 0755 for root:root. Setting the permissions to 0777 does solve this issue. Since this installation is a bit old maybe it was just a migration issue. Maybe on installing apt a script should check if the permissions of /tmp are correct? ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #807948 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=807948 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1524196 Title: Error on fetching several lists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/1524196/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything? For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette . Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't have to create a new bug report. Once the BIOS is updated, if the problem is still reproducible: 1) Please provide the output of the following terminal command (not perform an apport-collect): sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date 2) Please make a comment specifically advising on if there was an improvement or not. 3) Please mark this report Status New. Please provide a direct URL to your post to the mailing list when it becomes available so that it may be tracked. It just basically doesn't see my cable, like it is disconnected, this problem came after I've changed it. And I've find on the net how to fix it using ethtool `ethtool -s enp1s0f1 autoneg off speed 100 duplex full` - Maybe this cable is maximum 100Mbps capable and the driver can't manage how to get it working with a gigabit network, since with other (Gigabit) better cables I don't have this problem. Also I don't have problems in Windows or with other computers using the same cable. (Windows connection speed with this cable is 100mbit) I've tried also with a different computer using the same kernel driver with the same LAN chip and the same problem happened. [Bug 1546739] Re: Lenovo ThinkPad L460 Touchpad not working
Onke Wagner, the next step is to fully reverse commit bisect from kernel 4.2 to 4.5-rc4 in order to identify the last bad commit, followed immediately by the first good one. Once this good commit has been identified, it may be reviewed for backporting. Could you please do this following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#How_do_I_reverse_bisect_the_upstream_kernel.3F ? Please note, finding adjacent kernel versions is not fully commit bisecting. After the fix commit (not kernel version) has been identified, then please mark this report Status Confirmed. [Bug 1546694] Re: Bluetooth cannot detect other devices (Lite-on 3014 + Atheros AR9565)
legendaire, as per http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available (1.09). 3) Please mark this report Status Confirmed. If it's not reproducible, please mark this as Invalid. Thank you for your understanding. ** Tags added: bios-outdated-1.09 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1546694 Title: Bluetooth cannot detect other devices (Lite-on 3014 + Atheros AR9565) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1546694/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
