It looks like click-scope is the only scope that is failing. Queries to
the music scope work just fine, as do queries to remote scopes (via
smartscopesproxy). All these scopes run the exact same code in the
runtime.
I have no idea what exactly is going wrong, but I strongly suspect that

Yes I can see some GL code in GTK's Mir backend. However I also notice
the proposed new version of GTK in zesty got promoted yesterday. I've
just tested it and can't reproduce the bug yet, so it seems unlikely to
be caused by that.

Can you attach a screenshot of the "broken widget rendering"? Sounds
like it's a separate issue and we should fix it properly.
In the meantime, I think we can add an extra knob for something like
"integer-scaling", to make scale-factor always round to 8 or 16. But I
doubt Unity upstream would like

Alexandre,
Do you know why it is behaving this way? Can I help by testing a suggested
fix or by providing more logs? I've tried new firmware, hacking around with
bluetooth settings, and manually changing pulseaudio card profiles during
calls. Unfortunately, nothing that I've tried has fixed it.
