Same problem for me with XPS 15 (9550). 4.13.0-25 has no problems,
upgraded to 4.13.0-31 and hard-freezes in a minute or so. Currently
trying to upgrade to 4.13.0-32 to test.
Since it is a hard freeze, is there any file I can check for a log after
booting into the previous (4.13.0-25) kernel?

Hey. It will be great if we did have in ubuntu repo wine 2.x or 3.x.
Wine 1.6 its great but it’s getting old and the new versions have a lot
of bug fixes works way better. Thanks for a great job.

No, I haven't rebuilt libusb or libccid myself. Maybe the dynamic
loading mechanism doesn't find libusb. Or it doesn't look for it at all
- as it complains about not being able to find the symbol in libccid.so
specifically.

Trying to install 17.10 on an XPS 15 alongside the default windows
install. I have already shrunk the windows install, and added a second
NTFS partition for data. I partitioned the Linux side into three

The bug is triggered by the -m32 compiler flag, as evidenced by[1].
Looking for other people that had similar problems with -m32, I found
this[2].
So, after installing gcc-multilib and g++-multilib, the compilation now
works. All the people who couldn't reproduce this bug probably already
had one

I cannot run for very long under normal operational load using linux-
image-4.13.0-32-generic without a complete system freeze (mouse no
longer moves, keyboard no longer responsive). I have worked around this
by booting back into linux-image-4.13.0-31-generic which is
