[Bug 1838860] Re: convert translates upside down some picture when converting from jpg to tga
Bad news, sometime the converted png from jpg displays properly but is then set upside-down when converting from png to tga. I updated the screenshot of the bug: https://dl.illwieckz.net/b/imagemagick/bugs/convert-jpg-to-tga-upside-down/convert-jpg-to-tga-upside-down.png And the script to reproduce: https://dl.illwieckz.net/b/imagemagick/bugs/convert-jpg-to-tga-upside-down/convert-jpg-to-tga-upside-down.sh Which now looks like this: for i in *.jpg do n="$(basename "${i}" '.jpg')" convert "${i}" "${n}.png" convert "${i}" "${n}.tga" convert "${n}.png" "${n}.png.tga" done When I said converting from jpg to png to tga worked, in fact I had only tested with one file. It's not always true. With the provided "noships.jpg" file, the bug is carried over the png. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838860 Title: convert translates upside down some picture when converting from jpg to tga To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/imagemagick/+bug/1838860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

On a 16.04 LTS I managed to render Synology videos on the Google Chromecast. You must use a VLC 3 to render the videos to Chromecast but unfortunately you cannot browse the network (upnp). sudo dpkg -i libupnp6_1.6.19+git20160116-1_amd64.deb This will enable VLC 2 to browse the network. [Bug 1817424] Re: Unable to resolve local DNS names provided by router on bootup.
Looking at this issue again I noticed some others having issues with /etc/resolv.conf so I check and indeed the symlink was incorrect: /etc/resolv.conf -> ../run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf This was a fresh installation of bionic, so I'm not sure what package installed this incorrect symlink. [Bug 1217959] Re: 'metadata' file not found when creating backup ("Could not restore ‘/home/user /.cache/deja-dup/metadata’: File not found in backup"
Please upgrade to the current version of duplicity. This will assure that any bugs fixed since your release are available and may fix your issue. NOTE: This applies especially to duplicity versions between 0.7.03 and 0.7.14 inclusive. There was a fix in 0.7.15 that reduced memory usage drastically, and will help with memory errors and inability to start new threads. There are three options: * Release tarball Install - https://launchpad.net/duplicity/+download * Daily duplicity builds - https://launchpad.net/~duplicity-team/+archive/ubuntu/daily * Stable duplicity builds - https://launchpad.net/~duplicity-team/+archive/ubuntu/ppa NOTE: UNinstall duplicity first if it was installed via the distribution repository. [Bug 1838133] Re: realtek r8822be kernel module fails after update to linux kernel-headers 5.0.0-21
Yes it's `sudo make INSTALL_MOD_STRIP=1 modules_install && sudo make install`. The command gets cut halfway in the comment. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838133 Title: realtek r8822be kernel module fails after update to linux kernel- headers 5.0.0-21 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1838133/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1838133] Re: realtek r8822be kernel module fails after update to linux kernel-headers 5.0.0-21
Hi Kai-Heng~ I tried the steps mentioned in #24 to build a kernel with the latest wireless-drivers-next modules. However, I'm getting the following error at the last step: $ INSTALL_MOD_STRIP=1 modules_install && sudo make install modules_install: command not found Is there anything else I need to "make" before running this command? [Bug 1791427] Re: Touchpad and/or trackpoint stop working after S3 suspend on Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th
I don't have the NFC chip. With kernel 5.2.x, it happens always after hibernation, sometimes after suspension, rarely after reboot. I'm occasionally able to restore it by unloading/reloading the i2c_hid kernel module. With kernel 4.19.61, the issue occurs sporadically, and I can always solve it by unloading/reloading the module. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791427 Title: Touchpad and/or trackpoint stop working after S3 suspend on Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1791427/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
