Same problem for me. Dell XPS 13 9380 ubuntu edition.
Happens at least once a day, sometimes more often. Seems to happen more when
the network load is not high.
I've upgraded to the latest firmware, but without improvement.

Blank Screen initiates after timeout (usually 5 minutes but set to 1
minute to replicate this bug), screen goes blank on both laptop and
external Dell, but immediately comes back on. Whilst it is blanking, any
running applications show their windows (which is not usual) but
