out that I had to install cups-pk-helper in order to make the unlock

Using Ubuntu 11.04 and two keyboards configured, Swiss German and

I have a similar problem with OpenOffice versions 2.4 and 3.0. For me,
it's the font Calibri by Microsoft (The default font of newer Office
versions) which is acting up: the letter ö doesnt print. ä,ü,Ö,Ä,Ü all
print. I think the bug is in OpenOffice, because other applications (I
tested gedit
If one manually switches the acceleration method to EXA, XVideo works
even with AIGLX enabled. Add the following line to your xorg.conf:
Option AccelMethod EXA
I'm using a slightly newer driver from Tormod Volden's PPA, but I guess
the one Intrepid ships should work as well. Feedback?

Question to others experiencing this bug: I get two behaviours on my
system. Most of the time, it just shows the extra ?? layout. But
sometimes, it just locks on one layout which I cannot change anymore. Do
you experience that as well?

and click OK. After that, ekiga 3 should be available from within

I can confirm that after booting, but before logging in, my master
channel is *not* yet muted, as it should be. So it's something in the
Gnome login process with mutes it, PulseAudio is a prime suspect ;-)

Since today (Friday 5th, 2011), I cannot login to gnome-shell anymore.
The background picture appears, and at some point i can hear the login
sound, but it doesn't get any further. Login to Unity works, but takes
much longer than it used to.
