I tried a new kernel hoping the issue was addressed, but no luck.
Kernel 2.6.39-3 (xorg-edgers ppa) shows the exact same problem. After

When the machine wakes up (using the remote), this is what shows up in the

Hi Jarod - you are correct, the script was installed when I took the

I removed the script, same result (this is where I got started, actually):
Boot-up log:
Jun 17 22:37:21 htpc
Attached the full syslog - boot, suspend, resume, where the issue can be
seen.
Things to note:
- I use ATI/AMD catalyst drivers (official ubuntu package / Catalyst

- Also (not sure if this is relevant or not) I have a simple python
script running all the time
As part of the installation of LIRC, I created the following (as part of
a how-to recipe):
$ pwd
/etc/udev/rules.d
$ cat 10-local.rules

Actually the package from Andrew does work. What is not needed are the
packages from splitted desktop.

For reference, here is the output, but with an old intel wifi card 7260
that works perfectly well and is installed in the same X16 PCIE slot
where the AX200 fails to load its firmware.
The AX200 was supposed to replace the 7260 however due to this problem
I've had to roll back the upgrade.
@vicamo I tested various combinations, here's the dmesg output:
stock 5.3 kernel + iwlwifi backport:

Hopefully this is fixable via firmware, so will retest once Intel
releases the next
The issue could be in:
linux-modules-extra-5.3.0-18-generic
(iwlwifi module) rather than in intel's firmware
