VLC plays fine using pulse, Totem fails for some videos only. I've found out all videos failing have AC3 audio, most at 448kbs and some at 384kbs. Maybe related to AC3 decoding with gstreamer. The extra packages are installed. My hardware is a HP Mini 210-1010ES running an up-to-date Ubuntu 10.04.
