connecting to the network, logging in to Ubuntu One and even rebooting
the device. Browsing the web works so the connection is definitely

HP EliteBook 6930p: scaling_max_freq is less than highest frequencies
Public bug reported:
Often, after suspending and resuming this system, I that the cursor is
not visible. If I move the trackpad then I can see the cursor having an
effect on the UI (hover effects trigger for example), but at no point is
it visible. This can only be cured by logging out and back
Maybe - I noticed that just after booting scaling_max_freq was 2534000,
but it dropped down soon after. I can provide the same logs as before
again and you can check them to make sure that a.) I enabled ignore_ppc
properly and b.) it had the expected effect. Sound ok?

The problem here is that the gsd-backlight-helper code used by the
brightness applet prefers to always use 'acpi_video0' or whatever
backlight device has type 'firmware'. This means that it will update
/sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness, which does not work. Our
test code will update the
