I also have this bug on my Macbook Pro 4,1 (Santa Rosa) running Ubuntu
x86. F1/F2 keys and F5/F6 keys suddenly stopped working after last
week's updates. I can also confirm this same issue on the same hardware

Fix. I recompiled libgpgme11 from source and that fixed the error
message. I can confirm that gpg encryption/decryption now work in
kmail, but not signing for some reason. I have attached the rebuilt deb
and all the source stuff I used to compile this package.

What kind of video card do you use? The new Xorg 1.6 broke both flavors
of proprietary drivers for many cards. (Mine included.) For my Nvidia
card, I had to add the following to my
/etc/X11/xorg.conf

latest release. You are probably no longer using the proprietary driver
because your card is not supported. The problem is, the latest X.org is

I experienced this bug w/ Karmic and Banshee 1.5.3 (1.6 Beta 4, banshee
stable PPA). Installation of ubuntu-restricted-extras fixed this for me.

I just upgraded my g5 powerpc from 8.04 to 9.04 and now I can't unlock
my fpm password database. I thought it might be that 9.04 uses fpm2 vs
fpm in 8.04, but I can open the database with fpm2 on another computer,
