I must admit, I could not care less for a strange kernel from a unknown PPA :)
But it seems I am a too nice person (hahaha) and I had a look at these kernel

The obvious error is here:
g++: error: unrecognized option '-no_dead_strip_inits_and_terms'
Until now gcc always just puke that the option is unrecognized and continued
(this one is needed on OSX).

for me that sounds like a Xorg issue, but nexuiz triggering it.
Could you provide your Xorg.log when this happens, including some info like
Xorg version, Driver name and Version and Nexuiz version (I guess 2.4.2?).

Is this still happening with a recentish Ubuntu/Nexuiz release?
Looing at your report, it says
Reassociate () from /usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so
Which means you run the closed-source ATI driver, which is known to play bad in
some situations.
Any chance you can try using radeon or radeonhd with your

Can you reproduce this bug again?
gtkperf works fine on Debian and its postinst is really tiny and
shouldn't break anything:
