You can recompile evince, same version you're using without any
changes to the source. It will be recompiled to use the newest
poppler. I did this to use poppler3 in hardy without any issues.

This bug has a known workaround, is a regression and it seems like a
configuration bug. Even if the fix includes installing bluez-compat,
this looks like a papercut to me.
A proper fix in the bluetooth stack is probably more complicated, but
there's certainly a way to revert the regression effect

I found that to use a workaround to restart gnome-keyring-daemon from
command line in a way to reuse the existing socket: the env var
GNOME_KEYRING_TEST_PATH. This var should be set to the /tmp/keyring-
that was previously in use.
For example:
GNOME_KEYRING_TEST_PATH=/tmp/keyring-pw7JIX/
There's no command line option to pass a directory to g-k-d in runtime.

Tried including the following line to
/usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/br-abnt2.kmap.gz , which in turn came from
br-latin1.kmap.gz, and changed the keycode from 53 to 211 as it was the keycode
reported by xev.

Why not just make /usr/share/X11/fonts/ a symlink to
/usr/share/fonts/X11/?
It would make it simpler so that all fonts would end up in the big
fonts directory.
