Hi Arne, thanks for your report and I'm sorry that you are having this
problem downloading Steel Storm. This is actually a very large download
(about 650 MB) and so it can be susceptible to network glitches.
However, I would expect that if the download was interrupted you would
have seen an error

apt-get directly and it worked, so I wonder if that might work for you.

Hi Charles, and thanks for your bug report. Indeed, the startup time for
Software Center has regressed significantly with the change to the new
user interface in Oneiric. Rest assured that the developers are well
aware of this issue and it annoys them as much as it does you. ;) This
