I don't know if this applies to anybody else as well, but before
installing Firefox 3, I had moved the location bar to the same toolbar
as the menus and hidden the Navigation Toolbar. Having now installed
Firefox 3, when I unhide the Navigation Toolbar, another location bar is
there, and that one
I am also experiencing the problem, on Hardy and using the latest
version of Firefox. I'd also like to add, in addition to the above,
that the location bar is blank when I start Firefox, and Ctrl + L or Alt
+ D brings up the Open Web Location dialog, instead of bringing the
location bar to focus.

This problem is also present on the Acer Aspire 5920, which has a near-
identical hardware setup as the Aspire 5920G. I tried to edit the
xorg.conf as described above, but doing so only messed up my monitor
configuration and probably everything else as well. It also did not
have any effect on
The package made no difference to the way DVDs play. One thing I forgot
to mention -- I don't know if it is related. The DVD does not always
fail to play, but instead sometimes plays very slowly, frozen on the
first second when the main feature plays until a Permission denied
error appears.
I have libdvdcss2 installed and I installed your package by going to the
PPA page and clicking on the libdvdread4 package for i386. I couldn't
say whether installing the package has an effect because, after this
boot at least, the DVD was playing, albeit ridiculously slowly.

I can confirm this, except that invoking killall metacity only worked
the first time I tried it. After rebooting, this seemed to have no
effect. Attached is the requested file from my laptop. My computer,
however, has a keyboard with single-key multimedia shortcuts on it and

commented on either bug have complained of common problems: multimedia

this image in GIMP. It is nothing more than one colour, with a
resolution of 1600x1200, and even this does not work.
