In my case, printing to PDF in the first place and then printing that
PDF to printer worked.

I have an HTC Desire S which I recently upgraded from Android 2.3 to 4.0
(official HTC ROM). Shotwell still does not recognise the correct date.

Till, the second file I sent you is from a plain vanilla print job in
Firefox on system default paper size. On my dad's machine I could
break printing from LibreOffice without having to select any printing

MusicBrainz lookup works fine in Rhythmbox 2.96 in 12.04 32 bit. I'll be
setting up an AMD64 machine soon and verify Dngrsone's comment.
Dngrsone, did you verify this with several CDs? Some discs in
MusicBrainz' database lack CD TOCs and thus can't be looked up. Does CD
lookup work with Picard?

good news: I've been working on my photos all weekend now and so far,
Shotwell 0.12.3 has not yet tried to mess up all my tags. Even emptying
trash did'n trigger tag removal. I'm happy.

Still NOT FIXED in Rhythmbox 2.90.1 on Ubuntu 11.10.
Banshee on the same machine looks up album information without problems,
as does Rhythmbox on my Debian Testing machine.

I can confirm this bug for Ubuntu 11.10 32 bit and Debian Wheezy 64 bit:
Rhythmbox writes crap (i.e. the same artist all the time) to the
ARTISTSORT tag in FLAC files on both systems. Any chance to get that
fixed?

Even worse: tagging does not work properly. I tried to tag FLAC files
and ended up with a complete mess with ARIST and ARTISTSORT information

Could you please reconsider this bug's importance being only medium?
After all, it renders Ubuntu's flagship e-mail and calendar application
useless and forces people to stick to 10.04 LTS.
IMHO all applications MUST work with 1024x768. This is a common display
resolution on older laptops.
