after the last update to Thunderbird 3.1.10 it works just fine ;-)
only thing is: the space where the menu-bar was before is still there,
resulting in an empty space between the panel and the button-bar so
there is actually no real space-saving by the globalmenu.

ok, it's possible that virtualbox is the problem, i've looked into the log
files and it seems that the notifications are sent correctly but somehow

i don't know how it starts automatically but it was fully closed, not
only minimized or with the close button, i closed from the menu.
it have to be reproducable, because it happens not only one time.
it's a bit time gone since i have Empathy installed and now it's uninstalled
because of this
i get this error again and captcha doesn't seem to work.
with update to 1.64 of the plugin it was fixed and works just fine for weeks
but since yesterday i often don't get the messages sent by friends over
facebook...i see the message in the browser but it doesn't show up in Pidgin

i have to reregister tomboy with ubuntuone server.
it asks to register computer name None and then the sync works.
but my computer is already registerd with it's real name.
i think there is some inconsistency in registering the machines...?!
