I didn't install oxygen icons by myself. It's the default icons set in
KDE4. I suppose it's in the kde-icons-oxygen package. I have some KDE
applications installed in Gnome, so oxygen icons are just in the choices
of Gnome display configuration.

Can you tell me a bit more about your keyboard and its setup?
My keyboard is a qwerty Logitech® Media Keyboard Elite. In the
configuration of gnome-keyboard-properties, the layouts tab has this
setup:

Here's what I've done:
- I installed libgutenprint2_5.2.0~rc1-0ubuntu2_i386.deb
- I restarted cups: sudo service cups restart
- In the printers manager, I deleted my printer and added it again.
I have the same encoding characters bug. Have I done the update
correctly?

To always reproduce the bug:
- Open vlc.
- Then click on the Show Desktop button in the Gnome panel.
Now any click on the vlc icon in the systray zone does nothing.
Expected result: when clicking on the vlc icon in the systray zone, vlc
should appear or hide.
