Weird issue. Suspended a T420 running 11.10. On resume, the system
locked up hard. I power cycled and got back into the system and tried

I tried ONE suspend/resume cycle on this machine with 11.10 and the

proprietary FGLRX driver to give me 3d acceleration. I installed fglrx,
restarted the system and tried, but still got 2d unity. Regardless of

Installed 11.10 on a Vostro 3550 and got the 2D desktop. Jockey offered
me two options for getting 3d. Install the fglrx driver, or the fglrx
updates driver.
I used jockey to install flgrx and after restarting discovered tha t I
still had no 3d environment. So next I

Installed 11.10 on the Vostro 3550 to do a certification test. If I
plug in a USB key, things seem to work normally, I get a file browser
once the key is mounted and I'm able to copy files back and forth.
However, not so much with other usb devices. First I tried a known

Here's a short video. For investigative purposes, I caught grub and
removed the quiet and splash options from the boot options. Then I shot
this brief video. Note that we get some messages, then the panel just
turns itself off. At this point, the system is hard locked and must be
power-cycled

Attempting to certify the Lenovo X100e with 11.10. It's currently
certified for both 10.10 and 11.04. The system in question
(201110-6817) fails to boot with Oneiric.
I've tried re-installing Oneiric a total of 3 times now. Each time, I'm
able to boot the installer and

fine on this machine, so this is unique to a new release (Oneiric)
