kernels (tried Oneiric and multiple Natty kernels with the same results)
I replaced the minipci wi-fi card in the laptop with one from a dead
Lenovo. Wireless now works just fine without issues, so it seems that

the bug.
Here's what I'd like you to try. Get your machine into this state, and
check the output of 'rfkill list'. Then press

You are correct, sir! so watching events for the AT keyboard still
showed nothing when I hit Fn+F2 to turn wireless off and on, and as
before, wireless never actually came back on. However, after clicking
Enable Wireless to disable and re-enable it on the menu (after the
hotkey borked it),

workaround-able using Seth's advice above

Look closely at the text box and you can see the pointer. After I finish
typing a few letters, I start moving my finger around the trackpad, and
notice that the pointer remains still for a second or two before finally

Discovered this while testing several systems today after doing fresh
installs of Alpha 3 and updating each system to the latest updates as of
this morning, 12 Aug.
When I hit Alt-Tab to switch between apps, instead of one graphical task
list, two appear. One is a whiteish

This may be fixed in recent updates. I noted this on every laptop I've
tested this week, but today, on the latest test system, a Lenovo L512
with integrated Intel graphics, this did not happen with either external
VGA or DisplayPort. This system was installed and updated freshly this
morning.

Nope... just rechecked on two freshly updated EeePCs. both display the
corruption issue. The L512 is the only system I've tried so far that
did not exhibit this behaviour.
