really nice since it's what GNOME many users expect; it supports the
GNOME 3.4 appmenu; and it's one less thing to have to maintain in the
GNOME 3 PPA.
This depends on the clutter FFe (bug 941617 ).
I won't be able to do the full transition since I don't have upload
rights for a few of the libcogl rdepends that need to be rebuilt.
It looks like GNOME's next beta tarball deadline is next week so we'll
just wait for that to get libcogl9.

Sorry, this won't happen. Ubuntu 12.04 is an LTS so it would be a poor
choice to shorten that release cycle which would mean less time to fix
bugs and stabilize before release.
