This is a bug concerning all linux distributions not only ubuntu.
Probably a driver problem. But as asus hasn't released any details on
how the chip set works switching its hard to say whats going on.

In the live-CD session, I manually removed ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntustudio
package (via Synaptic) and Ubiquity did its job.

I often get the message that there is a facebook connection problem but
I can see the facebook contacts.

inkscape crashed with SIGSEGV when exporting PNG to server in

With Gnome3 (Gnome-shell) in 12.04 I could answer the phone in the bottom
notification bar. Now this is gone, and also when the phone rings not
notification is shown.

I believe I have the same issue, but with a twist? (I am sorry if this
is the wrong place for filing this - this is my first time...)
Can't add specific 'other locations' for clock in 12.10.
When trying to add Singapore, a list shows up that allows me to choose
between Singapore, South Africa

I have found that if I reduce my volume on my app. to a certain volume
setting (Movie player/ Audacious ) than my choppy sound disappear. This
should hopefully help with the identification of the bug.
