It happened to me on karmic after installing either desktop-switcher or

I just can't read any man page on maverick. Trying to type man gives me
this error message:
$ man nano
TERM environment variable needs set.

I don't know why but the problem seems to be the $TERM variable set for
guake. Once I exported xterm in it, the problem was solved. I just need
to find out how to set this as permanent.

Man doesn't work with this bug. But the weird is that gnome-terminal is
not affected, at least not in maverick RC. Guake still is.

Trash-cli doesn't send files to trash. I've tested trashing multiple files and
unique one.
restore-trash command doesn't work either.
Since the program can't do what it's suppose to do, I believe this is a
good reason for a freeze exception.

I have the same problem on karmic. Have set USE_EMERALD='yes' and
DECORATOR='emerald' on /usr/bin/compiz-decorator, /usr/bin/compiz-
manager and /usr/bin/compiz but compiz ignore that and always starts gtk
as default decorator. It's a confirmed bug, for sure.
