Just noticed the period in front of the log file name. It is attached. The many
attempts all failed.
Minor issue with the attach a file option. 'All files' buttonedoes not show

disabled. When I attempt to enable it via the FN-F2 key, I get the

Kate recognises xml and not XML and previously I was able to add the
option for files with the extension XML but now there is no option.

Symptoms similar to Chaghaboo describes.
System was fine after initial clean installation (complete format of
hard drive) of Ubuntu 9.10. Installed on a Dell Inspiron 1501. After
installation, I searched for hardware drivers within the Ubuntu GUI
interface and installed the wireless drivers.

The authorization requests appear in the messaging menu, just like an IM
does. You have to click on that to get the Approve/Reject dialog.

Same problem with the black screen and cursor. Sound works, mouse works
but no wifi and no suspend... when the system boots. It just stopped
booting on me into Karmic so I'll need to do some work. I had the same
problem with booting from a USB stick - very frustrating. I finally got
to install

Every time I switch channels in live tv, the audio volume is reset to
some internal setting. The volume should stay where I have manually set
it. In addition, when manipulating the volume with an IR remote, I get

After multiple failed reboots was able to boot and blacklisting ssb seems to
have solved the booting problem. I downloaded the backports and the STA
driver, but wireless is still not recognized. On reboot hardware driver states
that the STA is activated but not currently in use. Seems this

After recent Karmic update, my Intel Wireless stopped working. It is an
iwl3945.
When I boot the laptop, the wireless is enabled. It has always been

This is a strange one and not easily reproducible. It only occurs if
gnome-do is running in docky mode AND I bring up a video by double
clicking on it. I have gmplayer set as my default video player for
nautilus.

On a default install of 10.4 Lucid on a 4,1 MacBook the internal
accelerometer was being picked up as an input in addition to the
trackpad. This gave the mouse a wobble effect and also caused the
mouse to automatically recenter.
