I'm using Xubuntu 8.10 on a HP dv6545eg Notebook: Turion 64X2, 2GB, 120gb HDD,
NForce Chipset, Gf7150 graphics, built-in Ricoh Card-Reader, Broadcom Wireless.
All worked fine with Xubuntu and Ubuntu 8.04.
But this is the problem with 8.10 (i turned splash boot screen off,

My IBM x60 is affected too. Have this Notebook for a few weeks now, but
today ist was the first time this happend.

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04.
After the I installed empathy via apt-get install empathy
No notification icon in the tray icon. Color when new messages recieved do not
show to blue color.
I've fixed this by apt-get install telepathy-notify command.

Creative HD720p webcam doesn't work

@bonej079 I've tried every kernel from the 5.4 line and can confirm that
Creative Live! Cam Sync HD (VF0770) doesn't work on any of them after
5.4.0-91. Once I run the system using 5.4.0-91 it works like a charm so
no hardware failure for sure.

ok so strange. All along I was doing a soft reboot. It just occurred to
me that since the ports are part of the USB-C (power port) - I unplugged
the power cable. And plugged it back in and now I can see the ports!
pi@raspberrypi:/opt$ lsusb
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics
This is how I have it in Raspbian as per the case that I am using for RPI4.
Regardless - I moved it under [cm4] and now dwc2 doesn't show up at all, so I
have moved it back to [all]

Maybe 12 duplicates are a sign that any of you guys could take the 10
minutes needed to solve the problem? This issue is really biting people
