Dimitrios, for me it only works if I boot from the Live x64 CD. My
install is the x86 upgraded to 8.10. It would seem that the issues are
known about from the article you've provided the link to - thank you for

After coming back from hibernation sound doesn't work.
This is the only solution that worked form me...

afterwards it reloaded all of snd modules back to kernel and gnome-

Pretty sure this is a bug in the way xorg handles some PCI bus memory
stiff, not an issue with the i810... I had it affect my ATI and i810
systems.
