On this Dell D430, whenever I open the lid, half of the time, gnome-
screensaver's unlocking dialog appears, but it ignores all keystrokes
and the laptop immediately returns to sleep mode. I then have to close

However, it also happens if power if unplugged *before* going into
suspend. Here, I always unplug the adapter *before* and give it a
minute or two before closing the lid.

to be that prerm misses the case/esac traps to intercept dpkg commands:

Since a couple days, update-motd is apparently ran twice at login, which
results in the MOTD message content being repeated twice:

Currently, requestsync checks for Debian inherited environment variables
DEBEMAIL, DEBSMTP, DEBSMTP_PORT, DEBSMTP_USER, DEBSMTP_PASS.
While this is not inherently wrong, it presumes that someone would be

difference. :)

The situation with AppArmor is a known issue that has been documented in
/usr/share/doc/cups-pdf/README.Debian for quite some time already.
Previously, it only prevented outputing documents to non-standard
directories. Recently, it also started to prevent the initial creation
of the standard PDF
Can anyone try compiling 2.5.0 against Hardy and see if it works there?
If it works on Hardy, we can immediately rule out CUPS-PDF issues and
presume this to be a CUPS issues, probably in which default filters are
used by CUPS to produce the final document.
