Lenovo T510 here too.
I think I remember reading somewhere that it might be caused by a chip
which can be configured to report the battery parameters in either watt-
hours or amp-hours, and somewhere along the line the units get confused
or the chip is changed from one unit to another. I can't
I'm pretty certain this is a bug in upower, rather than g-p-m, because
the upower command-line tool also shows the huge energy when full
figure.

I am seeing the same behaviour as soro2005 - if I kill and restart
upowerd, normality is restored.
