[Bug 1791437] Re: Can't use pbuilder inside simple lxc container?
Yes and no. In the case of the makedev installation phase I think it can be somewhat senseful to not create the device nodes if it's not going to work. But here we are talking about debootstrap, which only creates a very few device nodes for some important devs, like /dev/null… You are going to need it, if you disallow its creation you can't expect it to work. For this case, I expect just running the deboostrap (= `pbuilder create`) phase out of lxc and the rest inside to just work, btw. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1791437 Title: Can't use pbuilder inside simple lxc container? [Bug 1791437] Re: Can't use pbuilder inside simple lxc container?
That's your lxc configuration that doesn't allow mknode(2), so you can't run debootstrap within it. [Bug 1626248] Re: libunistring0 has not been updated since 2010
I'm sorry it took so long to receive a reply about this bug report. However I am going to close it because there is nothing actionable here. That error you reported is incredibly unhelpful, and it' not caused by anything from this package. We'd need to know what is asking dpkg to explicitly configure libunistring0 whilst already being done. If you are still affected by this issue please contact user support to figure the best way forward; also most probably it's some kind of misconfiguration on your part anyway. ** Changed in: libunistring (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626248 Title: libunistring0 has not been updated since 2010 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libunistring/+bug/1626248/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
